Everything you need to know about Guildite — for sellers, buyers and anyone curious about how it all works.
Guildite is a digital commerce platform built for independent sellers. We give sellers the tools to run and grow their businesses — tools that were previously only available to large commerce platforms.
With Guildite you get a full digital shop, market analytics, delivery tools, marketplace moderation, and a community of sellers — all in one place.
We are not a marketplace that takes your customers. We are your operating system. You own your shop, your community and your business. We just give you everything you need to scale it.
Yes. Guildite's free tier gives you access to your digital shop, product listings, buyer discovery and the seller community with no monthly fee.
Guildite charges a small platform fee on buyer transactions — this is how we keep the free tier genuinely free for sellers. The platform fee is transparent and shown at checkout.
For sellers who want advanced analytics, market prediction tools, priority support and premium shop features, Guildite Pro is available as a monthly subscription. Details are in your account settings.
Signing up takes less than five minutes:
You are ready to sell from the moment your first listing goes live.
Yes — this is one of Guildite's core features. After setting up your shop you can generate a unique shop link and a QR code.
Share your shop link directly in your existing groups, broadcast lists or social pages. Buyers click the link and land on your Guildite shop where they can browse your listings, place orders and pay securely.
You can also download and print your shop flier — which includes your QR code, shop name and branding — and display it at your physical location. Anyone who walks past can scan it and shop immediately.
Guildite is live and actively expanding. Sellers and buyers from outside our current core markets can register and use Guildite's shop and community features today. Payment and delivery features are continually being rolled out to new regions.
If you'd like Guildite available where you are, reach out to us at support@guildite.com — interest from a region helps us prioritise expansion.
No. Guildite is built for independent sellers — including informal sellers who are not yet registered businesses. You do not need a business registration number, a tax identification or any formal documentation to create a seller account and start selling.
Identity verification may be required for account safety, selected platform features or legal compliance. This may use a valid form of government-issued ID, but it is not the same as business registration.
Your seller dashboard is your business command centre. It includes:
Guildite processes real transaction data from across the platform. The market prediction tool uses this data to show you what products in your category are selling at — right now, in real markets near you.
Instead of guessing your price or finding out you were undercut after losing a sale, you can see current market prices before you list. You price competitively from the start.
The tool also identifies trending product categories — helping you decide what to stock before demand peaks rather than after.
Guildite allows sellers to create their own Guild — a dedicated community space where you can invite your buyers, post updates, share exclusive offers and build a loyal customer base.
Think of it as a private community for your most loyal customers, built directly into the platform where they already shop from you.
This feature is rolling out progressively to sellers — check your dashboard or contact support for the latest on availability for your account.
When an order is placed, Guildite captures the buyer's location automatically. As a seller you have two delivery options:
Guildite tracks delivery progress but does not hold purchase funds or guarantee payment or delivery. Sellers should verify payment with the chosen payment provider before dispatching an order.
Yes. Every seller on Guildite gets a customisable digital shop. You can update your shop name, profile picture, cover banner, business description and opening and closing hours.
Guildite also offers premium shop themes — professionally designed layouts that make your shop stand out. Themes are available as one-time purchases in the Guildite marketplace.
Your shop generates a permanent link and QR code that you can share anywhere — online or printed for your physical location.
Guildite supports all legal products and services. Common categories include fashion and clothing, food and beverages, electronics, vehicles, furniture, beauty products, services and anything else you legitimately sell.
The following are strictly prohibited: stolen goods, counterfeit items, controlled substances, weapons, explicit content, and any item prohibited under applicable law. Violations result in immediate account termination.
If you are unsure whether your product is permitted, contact support@guildite.com before listing.
Guildite does not hold or release purchase payments. The time it takes to receive money depends on the payment method agreed with the buyer and the payment provider's settlement rules.
Verify the payment in your own provider account before dispatching goods. An order status or delivery confirmation in Guildite is not proof that funds have settled.
If Guildite later offers an integrated payment option, the checkout will identify the licensed provider and material fees before payment. It will not be described as Guildite escrow.
Guildite supports buyers through marketplace records and moderation. When you place an order:
Guildite reviews reports and may warn, restrict, suspend or permanently ban buyers or sellers where the evidence supports action. A report is not automatic proof of misconduct.
If your order does not arrive by the seller's stated delivery date, contact the seller promptly and keep your order and payment evidence. Request any cancellation or refund that the seller's policy or applicable law requires.
You may also report the seller to Guildite for review and use any complaint, dispute, reversal or chargeback process offered by the payment provider. Guildite can enforce platform rules but does not hold the seller's funds or issue the product refund.
Preserve the packaging, listing, messages and clear photos of what you received. Contact the seller promptly and request the return, replacement or refund available under the seller's policy and applicable law.
You may report the listing or seller to Guildite. We can review the evidence for a platform-rule violation and take account action, but Guildite does not control the seller's money or promise a product refund.
You can discover sellers on Guildite in three ways:
Once you visit a seller's shop you can browse their full catalogue, view their ratings and order directly from the shop page.
Guildite may charge a clearly disclosed platform or service fee for features supplied through the platform. Any fee and the service it covers will be shown before you confirm.
The platform fee is shown transparently at checkout before you confirm your order — there are no hidden charges.
A Guildite fee does not buy escrow, insurance or a guarantee of payment, delivery, product quality or refund. It is not voluntarily refundable after the related Guildite service has been supplied, except for processing errors or where the law requires otherwise.
Integrated buyer checkout is not currently enabled. Buyers and sellers should use a lawful payment method they both understand and preserve independent proof of payment.
If an integrated option is introduced, Guildite will identify the licensed provider, supported methods, material fees and settlement arrangement before payment. Guildite will not provide escrow or store full card or mobile money credentials.
When you place an order, Guildite generates a unique delivery code for that transaction. This code confirms your order and is used as part of the delivery confirmation process.
The code records delivery status only. It does not release money, prove that payment settled or remove any legal right that cannot be excluded.
No. Guildite does not provide escrow and does not hold purchase funds pending delivery.
Settlement timing depends on the payment method and payment provider used by the parties. Verify payment directly with the provider; Guildite order and delivery statuses are not proof that money has settled.
Guildite does not issue discretionary refunds for products sold by users. Product return, exchange and refund requests go to the seller and, where relevant, the payment provider.
Sellers must honour their published policies and any mandatory cancellation, return or refund rights under applicable law. This includes relevant Ghanaian electronic-transaction rights; legal exceptions apply to some product and service categories.
A Guildite fee is not voluntarily refundable once the related service has been supplied, except for a duplicate, unauthorised or incorrectly processed charge or where the law requires otherwise. Payment-provider reversals and chargebacks remain subject to provider rules and applicable law.
Guildite does not provide escrow or guarantee high-value transactions. Do not rely on Guildite alone when paying for a vehicle or another high-value item.
Independently verify the other party and ownership, inspect the item and relevant documents, use a written agreement, and use a payment method appropriate for the transaction. Consider professional legal or financial assistance.
Confirm settlement directly with the payment provider. A Guildite profile, order status, report history or identity check is not a guarantee that a transaction is safe.
The Guildite community is a professional space for sellers and buyers to connect, learn and grow together. It includes:
The community is moderated by Guildite's moderation team. Professional conduct is required at all times.
If you see suspicious activity, a scam attempt or someone asking for delivery codes or payment details in community chat, report it immediately:
A report is an allegation, not automatic proof. Moderators review relevant evidence and account records. Credible serious fraud may result in an immediate temporary restriction while the review continues and a permanent ban where substantiated. Where appropriate, unlawful activity may be referred to the relevant authorities.
Yes. Guildite enforces the same platform rules for buyers and sellers. Depending on the evidence and severity, moderators may take no action, warn or mute a user, remove content or listings, restrict features, suspend an account or permanently ban a user.
Serious or repeated fraud, scam attempts, harassment, prohibited content, impersonation and efforts to evade an earlier restriction may result in a permanent ban. Knowingly false, retaliatory or coordinated reports are also violations.
Where reasonably possible and lawful, the affected user is notified of the action and a meaningful reason and may appeal through support@guildite.com. Guildite may tell a reporter that review is complete or action was taken without disclosing confidential account details. A termination does not create a voluntary right to a subscription refund, except where required by law or for a duplicate, unauthorised or processing-error charge.
Guild creation is being rolled out to Guildite Pro sellers progressively. Your Guild is a private community space attached to your shop where you can invite buyers, post exclusive content and build a loyal customer base.
If Guild creation is available on your account, go to your seller dashboard, select Community and follow the Guild setup guide. You can set your Guild name, description, invite rules and moderation settings.
Not seeing it yet? Contact support@guildite.com to check availability for your account — we're expanding access regularly.
You can cancel your Guildite Pro subscription at any time from your account settings — no phone call or email required.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will continue to have access to Pro features until the period ends. Unused time is not voluntarily refunded except where required by law or for a duplicate, unauthorised or incorrectly processed charge.
After cancellation your account moves to the free tier. Your shop, listings, sales history and seller data are all preserved.
